Service Agreement and Pricing
Packaging: Remove all mirrors, explorers and probes. Only send curettes and scalers. Following all OSHA guidelines and regulations, the CLIENT must make sure all instruments are STERILIZED prior to pick up or shipping. Instruments that have not been properly sterilized will be returned and a $20.00 fee will apply for return.
Send no more than 75 sterilized instruments with packing material in a puncture resistant box. Please include signed instrument form inside box. The Smarter Edge is not responsible for any damaged instruments due to improper packaging.
Price: $2.00 per sharpened end. Applicable sales tax and a $10.00 administrative handling fee will be applied. Client is responsible for shipping and handling fees that will be calculated and provided on client invoice. Payment to The Smarter Edge for services are due no later than 10 business days. A $25.00 late fee will apply to any payments made after the 10 business days.
There is no charge for any unsharpened instruments that are deemed to thin or to worn to sharpen. These instruments will be returned to you labeled as such. The Smarter Edge is not responsible for any worn, broken or thin instruments due to existing condition upon receiving. The Smarter Edge will not be responsible for any instruments that are worn, broken or aged that the client chooses to use for patient care.
Schedule: Pick up/Delivery- For pick up and delivery in the Triangle area, The Smarter Edge will pick up sterilized and properly packaged instruments at your dental practice and return your instruments in 2-3 business days at a time appropriate for both parties.
Shipping: The Smarter Edge will return instruments in 5-7 business days using USPS Priority Mail. The Smarter Edge is not responsible for any lost or or delayed shipments due to courier services.
